Ideal candidates are proactive, technically versatile, and comfortable working in Agile delivery environments. This role provides the opportunity to strengthen expertise in modern web technologies, cybersecurity-focused initiatives, and enterprise-level Drupal development.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Drupal-based websites and applications throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Support complex Drupal 7 to Drupal 9 migration projects, including feature analysis, content migration, and platform customization.
  • Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to deliver responsive, secure, and scalable web solutions.
  • Perform feature gap analyses and implement customized functionalities to align migrated websites with target platform requirements.
  • Provide post-migration technical support, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance for migrated websites.
  • Develop and maintain responsive front-end components using frameworks such as Bootstrap and modern web technologies.
  • Integrate REST APIs and manage database interactions using MySQL and MariaDB.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, code reviews, testing, deployment automation, and continuous integration activities.
  • Use Git for version control and collaborate effectively within distributed development teams.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining Drupal 8/9 websites in professional environments.
    • Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development practices.
    • Experience building responsive websites using frameworks such as Bootstrap.
    • Solid understanding of REST API integrations, database management, and source control tools such as Git.
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
    • Experience using wireframing, modeling, or prototyping tools to support development workflows.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality standards.
    • Ability to work independently in a remote, international environment while maintaining effective communication in English.
    • Valid European work authorization is required.
    • Benefits:

      • Fully remote work environment within Europe.
      • Long-term contract opportunities with international projects.
      • Flexible collaboration model available for both contractors and employees.
      • Exposure to enterprise-level Drupal migration and cybersecurity-related initiatives.
      • Opportunity to work with multicultural and distributed technical teams.
      • Competitive compensation package based on experience and expertise.
      • Professional growth opportunities within complex digital transformation projects.
