Senior e-Commerce Operations Manager
Job Description
We are currently seeking our newest innovator to join our dynamic team as a Sr. eCommerce Ops Manager on the dXp (digital tranformation) Team!
The Sr. Marketplace Ecommerce Operations Manager is responsible for developing and managing the operations of a marketplace store for LG Electronics (LGE) North America. This position, as a part of the Value Chain Innovations (VCI) Team, will lead and execute the app-embedded store sales experiences and a broader marketplace-related ecommerce activities to increase user engagement and marketplace revenue.
To be successful, this individual will focus on delivering a best-in-class customer experience to improve the EXPLORE, SHOP, BUY, and GET experiences on current and future marketplace stores. This includes overseeing marketplace store's key customer journey touchpoints and keeping them aligned with LG.com's site-wide merchandising and sales experiences that support the execution of promotional calendar and special sales events.
The individual in this role will work with cross-functional teams to solve complex business issues involving order fulfillment, operational compliance, and inventory forecasting. This person will also work with LGE's NA's Supply Chain Management Team and 3rd party sellers to enable drop-ship capabilities to streamline customer's post-sale experience to win operationally in the emerging digital retail space.
Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations: product listings, fulfillment, promotions, merchandising maintenance, customer service, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute promotions and merchandising programs.
- Develop, implement, and improve the marketplace commerce operations, including activities such as inventory allocation, price updates, new seller onboarding, 3rd-party settlement, commerce reporting & analytics.
- Partner with the CRO team to identify conversion optimization opportunities. Run A/B tests to identify winning experiences to serve in the marketplace store.
- Communicate with business stakeholders, collect requirements, and collaborate with overseas developers to improve the marketplace eCommerce systems.
- Monitor the health status of our eCommerce systems and email marketing campaign through analytics and key metrics. Immediately address any risks that impact our live operations.
- Manage key subscription initiatives for the D2C business (assortment, maintenance, optimization).
- Evaluate new requirements for product launches, define requirements, and business rules, and prioritize with Engineering.
- Manage multi-product bundle offerings, discounting, and launch timing to align with new product launches and marketing support.
- Audit website performance to allocate development resources for optimized customer experiences.
- Create, prioritize, and manage development tickets related to key business initiatives.
- Determine key performance indicators related to store operations, track and analyze performance and distribute key performance reporting weekly/monthly/quarterly.
- Develops strong working relations with third-party sellers and partners to collaborate and develop strategies that maximize sales and LGE's return on investment.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree with a preference to concentration in Business Administration, eCommerce, Retail Merchandising, and/or Marketing.
- 8 years of progressive Ecommerce Operations/Merchandising/ Marketing/Development and/or a combination of this experience with a retail brand and/or retailer.
- Experience in a leading role, owning and managing comprehensive online or app-based store strategy and planning for day-to-day Ecommerce business operations.
- Experience influencing senior leadership and quantifying results for consumption by various levels within the business
- Current and working knowledge of eCommerce platforms and processes
- Knowledge of the consumer electronics industry, retail dynamics, and consumer buying patterns is preferred
