Job Description

Will work primarily on coverage of non-U.S. billionaires and be co-editor of wealth valuations 

Responsibilities:

  • Investigates the personal fortunes of these billionaires and billionaire suspects
  • Helps manage team of staff reporters and reporters from licensees and around the world 
  • Edits valuations by staffers and freelance reporters
  • Writes premium stories including profiles/investigations
  • Monitors day-to-day news to update valuations in real-time and to break stories before competition, whether written themselves and assigned to a team member

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 10 years of relevant work, reporting on billionaires and investigating them and their fortunes
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to multitask in a fast-paced 
    environment
  • Strong ability to manage a staff of reporters around the world, edit valuations and stories, meet deadlines
  • Ability to come up with story ideas 
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team while also working independently efficiently in a team dynamic
  •  Knowledge and experience reporting on regions outside of the U.S. is required

The annual base salary range for this role is: $150,000 - $150,000
