Senior Electrochemist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop battery cell designs and mechanical dimension for Gotion game-changing battery product
• Responsible for the detailed feasibility study and risk analysis of various battery technologies
• Collaborate with internal cell technology and cell engineering teams to validate and scale the technologies
• Act as the battery cell expert interfacing with internal teams, external vendors, and customers

Required Qualifications:

• PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, Materials Science & Engineering, and related fields
• Deep understanding of the state-of-the-art battery materials and technologies
• Demonstrated record of success and inventiveness in battery-related fields
• Familiarity with state-of-the-art production processes, test equipment, test procedures of rechargeable lithium battery products
• Motivated, hands-on self-starter with solid time management skills, and strong process and data driven approach to the engineering process, comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

For this position, the reasonably expected pay range is between $100,000 and $170,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
