THE POSITION

The Architecture and Network (AN) group in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Senior Embedded Linux Software Engineer to join our team. Are you ready to shape the future with us?

• The Embedded Linux Software Engineer will work on cutting edge telematics projects and will:• Design, implement and test new features, change requests and bug fixes for telematics products.• Analysis and root cause of problem reports• Estimate the efforts needed for different SW work products• Participate in sprint planning, SCRUM and continuous improvement tasks• Adhere to Continental's SW development process and follow ASPICE practices

Job Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in: Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent• 3 years of C/C++ development• 2 years of software development for embedded devices• 2 years of Linux Applications development• 2 years of experience using GIT• Basic understanding of electrical schematics• Willingness to travel (< 10% of the time)• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
