Job Description
Title: Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Term: F/T Perm
Start Date: ASAP
Required: U.S. Perm Resident/U.S. Citizenship
Responsible for
- Compiling customer requirements,
- Defining system functionality, and
- Writing embedded code in various languages (primarily in C),
- Developing in a DO-178C environment to ensure full certification compliance for Client's power conversion products in close collaboration with electrical design team.
Requirements
Skills/Experience:
- B.S. in Computer Science or EE required; M.S. preferred
- 8+ years design experience in embedded systems design
- Strong understanding of the DO-178C development processes
- Experience leading the design and integration of complex embedded control systems for power electronics.
- Proficiency leading all aspects of software development, verification, testing and documentation, DO-178C.
- Perform board level troubleshooting and development.
- Interface with customers for design reviews, status updates, etc.
- Document and defend, via the SOI audit process, DO-178C standards.
- Collaborate with Electrical Engineering team in the definition, development, and test of
- Develop software in C programming language, and other languages as required
- Experienced in software tools such as DOORs, Bugzilla, JIRA, etc.
Desired:
- Experience with TI TMS320 series DSP and Code Composer Studio.
