Employer Brand & Employee Experience is a division within the People team at Braze. Our mission is to foster an engaging global culture and an enduring reputation for Braze as a place to work. Responsibilities:
This Sr. Employee Experience Specialist will specialize in onboarding new employees to Braze. Operating within the People team, you will cross-functionally engage with an array of stakeholders and teams, including Workplace Experience, Talent Acquisition, Regional GMs, IT, Learning Experience Design, and HR Systems.Â
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Employee Experience, you will be responsible for the end-to-end administration and development of the global Braze New Employee Onboarding Program. As the go-to person for all onboarding-related activities, you will be tasked with new employee communications and education, facilitating onboarding sessions, and providing memorable employee experiences that create an initial sense of belonging and leave a lasting impact.
- Plan and coordinate all facets of the global Braze New Employee Onboarding Program across AMER, EMEA and APAC.Â
- Steward all materials associated with the Onboarding Program, while partnering with subject matter experts across the organization to develop new training content and on-demand e-learnings.Â
- Facilitate components of the Onboarding Program, both in-person and virtually, to ensure new Braze employees are equipped with the foundational knowledge of our company and business.
- Serve as the main point of contact for new Braze employees during their onboarding experience and for hiring managers leading up to/during their new team members' onboarding experience.
- Collaborate with other People Department teams and other cross-functional stakeholders on key onboarding responsibilities.
- Develop a roadmap to evolve the existing Onboarding Program into a bespoke experience that leverages automation, injects our Employer Brand, and fosters new moments of connection between new employees, their cohort class, and the wider business. Â
- Assist with adjacent Employer Brand and Employee Experience activities where appropriate, including external recruitment marketing activations, internal event planning and execution, and strategic programming.
WHO YOU ARE
- Experience across employer branding, employee experience, talent acquisition and/or HR systems; BA/BS degree preferred, recommended experience of approximately 4-6 years
- The ability to organize and juggle multiple, demanding tasks with accuracy and prioritize competing projects
- Technical savvy and experience working with Learning Management Systems
- A self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills that foster long-term stakeholder relationships and facilitate work cross-functionally
- Critical thinking skills that enable problem solving within a collaborative work environment
- A creative perspective and flexible mindset to innovate beyond conventional programs and activations
- An executive presence to represent Braze with professionalism and personality
- Strong communication, presentation, and coordination skills
For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $76,500 and $90,000/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $85,000 and $100,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.Â
