Intercom's Global Sales Organization is continuing to scale and the Sales Enablement team is evolving to support this growth. The Enablement teamâs mission is to empower Intercom sellers with the right stories, knowledge and go-to-market skills that will drive valuable engagement with prospective buyers.Â
As Senior Enablement Manager, SDR, youâll be responsible for developing and delivering enablement programs for Inbound and Outbound SDRs. Weâre looking for an experienced professional who specializes in Pipeline Generation, Prospecting and Discovery programs with an emphasis on Outbound. You will have the opportunity to help us shape how we deliver best in class enablement around the globe.Â
The role requires excellent organization and communication skills. Additionally, effective cross-functional collaboration with Sales Operations, Marketing, SDR Leadership, Sales Leadership, and Sales Representatives is required. You will work closely with the Global Sales Enablement team to leverage existing content where necessary.Â
What will I be doing? đYou will own and drive Intercomâs SDR enablement activities and programs. Youâll be responsible for:Â
- Partnering with leadership to design, develop and execute on an SDR onboarding program
- Supporting the development of continuous SDR enablement programs along with a focus on supporting talent developmentÂ
- Onboarding of SDRs new to the businessÂ
- Regular needs analysis to ensure alignment with the rhythm of the business and SDR Leadership
- Stakeholder and Program Management will be foundational across onboarding and continuous enablement
- An ability to make complex topics easy to understand for different audiences with varying technical aptitudesÂ
- Communications skills as it relates to stakeholder management, program management along with training
- Facilitating of training and events both in-person and virtualÂ
- Implementing effective post-training communications and access to resources
- Setting program goals, measuring results/KPIs of the program and documenting successÂ
You could be great for this role if you have:
- 5+ years in Enablement or SDR ManagementÂ
- Successful experience in direct sales (as AE or SDR) with an emphasis on skill development including outbound prospecting, cold calling, and lead qualification. Additionally, experience in any of the following: sales enablement, coaching, education, training, and/or curriculum development
- Experience in delivering presentations and training, both in-person and virtually
- Experience in designing self-paced learningÂ
- Group facilitation skills; running workshops, role plays and hands-on learning activitiesÂ
- A passion for working with sales teams
- Experience at a high growth SaaS company
- A highly motivated, self-starter, problem solving attitude
- Ability to proactively manage multiple business stakeholders and work with all seniority levels across the business
- The desire and capacity to work independently AND collaboratively
- A basic understanding of GDPR data and communication policiesÂ
- Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation) and interpersonal skill; positive, flexibleÂ
- Ability and willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Highly organized, great attention to detail, and deadline driven
- Experience using Salesforce.com, Outreach, 6SenseÂ
- A background in methodologies like Challenger Selling, John Barrowsâ Filling the Funnel and/or Command of the Message preferred
- Worked in a globally distributed team
