Role Overview:

As a Senior Endpoint Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team of windows and macOS engineers with expert experience in both Windows and macOS, Intune, Autopilot, JAMF, Enterprise Patching, Azure Active Directory, VDI and scripting. Working closely with our end users and other team members in a collaborative, user centric, transparent, innovative, and supportive way, this person will enable our business by ensuring that all endpoint devices, including workstations, laptops, mobile devices, virtual, and other endpoints, are secure, compliant, and operate efficiently within our organization.
This is a remote position in the USA. We will only consider candidates currently in the USA and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About the Role:

• Oversee the deployment, management, and administration of endpoint management platforms such as Intune and JAMF for endpoints using Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android.

• Create standardized desktop and laptop configurations, including operating systems and software, and ensure the deployment feasibility of these configurations to new or existing hardware. 

• Manage virtualized endpoints for efficient endpoint delivery and management.

• Analyze, report, and act upon endpoint performance metrics and security alerts.

• Ensure that all endpoints are compliant with licensing, security patches, and company policies.

• Research and evaluate new endpoint technologies, tools, and solutions to improve efficiency and security.

• In close collaboration with End User Services and other IT leadership, develop standards and guidelines for the adoption of new technologies.

• Package approved licensed and freeware software for installation via JAMF and Intune.

• Monitor endpoint performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize configurations for better user experience. Configure and manage device enrollment, compliance policies, and conditional access policies.

• Develop and implement automation solutions using PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages.

• Provide Tier 3 end-user support for physical and virtual machines.

• Collaborate with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements, propose solutions, and provide updates on project progress.

• Configure and manage Privilege Access Management policies.

• Lead endpoint-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.

• Function as a subject matter expert for endpoint management, providing escalated support and troubleshooting for complex endpoint issues.

About You:

• Bachelor's Degree Information Technology, Computer Science preferred or equivalent work experience

• 7+ years of experience in endpoint engineering or management in a global, large-scale enterprise environment.

• Intune and JAMF experience required. 3-5 years experience preferred.

• Proficiency in a scripting language such as PowerShell and Bash.

• Strong Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• VDI setup and administration. 1-3 years preferred.

• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Application packaging. 1-3 years preferred.
