About The Role & Team

Are you a marketing automation expert that is passionate about making customers successful? Then this is the role for you. This is a Customer Success & Marketing hybrid role where you will leverage marketing tools and practices to motivate customer behavior and help our customers reach their goals. 


As the Sr. Engagement Automation Manager you will leverage the tools and practices to help motivate customer behavior and help our customers reach their goals. In this role you will design, test and launch automated omni-channel communications to customers to help customers reach their goals. As a member of the Digital CS function, you will leverage our technology stack to build hyper-personalized digital engagements for customers. 


 As a Senior Engagement Automation Manager, you will: 

  • Manage our Digital Orchestration System to ensure the right customers, get the right message, at the right time 
  • Lead the overall development, testing, execution and maintenance of digital campaigns 
  • Collaborate with Customer Journey Managers to translate high-level engagement needs into engagement implementation including targeting and design
  • Copy edit emails and in app posts  to drive customer behavior 
  • Partner with the Data Strategist on segmentation strategy, program performance and data quality 

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:


  • 5+ years of marketing automation experience preferably a focus on post-sale engagement
  • Hands on experience using messaging orchestration systems (Intercom experience is a bonus) to deliver a cohesive digital customer experience
  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation and survey development strategy
  • An operational approach with a bias toward improving processes, documenting best practices and reducing technical debt
  • Experience prioritizing across multiple stakeholders, thoroughly scoping technical needs and finding creative solutions to technical challenges
  • Excellent written communication skills and understanding of communications best practices 
  • Strong champion of the end user with viewpoints of what good digital customer engagement should look like
  • Analytical mindset and experience tracking program performance and customer journey mapping (with Amplitude or a similar tool)
