Veo Labs, R&D studio in Copenhagen, seeks a Senior Engine Programmer to join the innovative team permanently.

We must emphasize the importance of you being able to work in any system and learn just about anything. The ideal candidate is creative, curious, and eager to learn new things.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and iterate on new and existing systems
  • Develop features for multiple platforms and different hardware capabilities
  • Be aware of the performance and memory footprints of different approaches or techniques
  • Debug low-level crashes and other issues and implement or suggest fixes for them
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and working to make the code base excellent
  • Work on longer-term engine features, as well as shorter feature requests or fixes that need to happen in more short-term

Qualifications

  • Professional experience with C/C++ programming and solid knowledge of file IO, algorithms, data structures, memory management, and general C/C++ best practices
  • Experience with performance-critical programming
  • Comprehensivel debugging skills
  • In-depth understanding of modern computer architectures
  • Experience with game engine
  • Experience with Vulkan

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience with Godot game engine
  • Experience with video processing
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Experience with Git version control system
  • Experience with GPU programming
