About The Role

The Senior Engineer will facilitate the use of continuous improvement methodologies to drive value to the business and enable the organization to achieve its goals. This resource will provide support to the engineering organization in monitoring critical metrics, adoption of Carrier Excellence methodologies and driving overall productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Under minimal direction, plans, prioritizes, and manages multiple engineering projects; prioritizes tasks to ensure that the team's overall resources are used effectively and that project deadlines are met.
• Manages several components of a large scale, complex, or significant engineering project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget.
• Manages major responsibilities across multiple engineering disciplines on a regular basis.
• Performs complex engineering activities that may not be attributed to a defined discipline and provides guidance to less senior employees.
• With some direction, creates and implements common procedures and standards for routine work across the organization.

Basic Qualifications

• BA/BS degree w/ 5+ years' engineering experience

OR

• MA/MS degree w/ 3+ years' engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related technical field.
