Senior Engineer

We are searching for a Senior Engineer (Electrical Engineer) on behalf of our client. This is a 1 yr. contract assignment. The person will be responsible for performing engineering assignments of a complex nature requiring application of engineering skills. The assignments involve planning and organizing projects and the application of highly specialized knowledge in carrying out the work. Provides technical support to lower-level professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering tasks as assigned, applying engineering principles.
• Design modifications to the plant, including new systems, system improvements, or replacement of obsolete equipment.
• Ensure work accuracy, completeness, and timeliness, following proper configuration management.
• Utilize standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes to prepare plans and specifications.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Engineering
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical engineering systems design for nuclear power plants.
• Familiarity with the standard design change process for nuclear power plants.
• Ability to mentor and guide young engineers as needed.
• This role involves critical contributions to the safe and efficient operation of the nuclear plant, making it an exciting opportunity for experienced electrical engineers.

Professional Engineering certification strongly preferred
