Sr. Engineer wanted by American Express Global Business Travel in New York, NY. Developing and maintaining data pipelines implementing ETL processes; Taking responsibility for Hadoop development and implementation; Working closely with a data science team implementing data analytic pipelines; Supporting production application and Incident management; Helping define data governance policies and supporting data versioning processes; Maintaining security and data privacy working closely with Data Protection Officer internally; and Analyzing a vast number of data stores and uncover insights.

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in any occupation which includes the required exp./skills. Must have five (5) years of experience with Hive, Spark and Hue; five (5) years of experience with SQL and Java; five (5) years of experience with Shell Scripting; three (3) years of experience with Hadoop Framework (any one or a combination of HDFS, Atlas, Ranger, Yarn or hbase); three (3) years of experience with AWS Services (EC2, S3, IAM and KMS); three (3) years of experience with Kafka; three (3) years of experience with Python; two (2) years of experience with Ansible Scripting; and two (2) years of experience with MFT. May work from home anywhere in the United States. $168,854-$170,000/yr. #LI-DNI
