Role Description

Seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer with knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join RDM US Data team. Candidate should be good technically in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and ensuring data quality and reliability. Candidate should also have good banking functional knowledge of Wealth Management.

Your key responsibilities

• Able to lead migration projects from legacy to the new Target Platform.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines on GCP using tools such as Google Cloud Dataflow, Dataproc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement data processing and transformation tasks to support analytics and reporting requirements.
• Optimise data storage and retrieval processes for performance and cost efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability across various data sources and platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and cloud computing.

Your skills and experience

• Around 10 to 15 years of Experience on
• Database Technologies : SQL, PL/SQL and NoSQL databases for storing and querying structured and unstructured data.
• Data Warehousing : Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices for managing and optimizing large scale datasets.
• ETL/ELT Processes : Experience with processes to ingest, transform and load data to target systems.
• Data Quality and Governance : Understanding of data quality assessment technologies and data governance principles to ensure data accuracy, consistency and compliance.
• Cloud Platform (GCP 1-2 years).
• Core Banking System - Technical and functional knowledge : Wealth Management domain.
