Senior Engineer - DevOps

Accumulus is seeking an experienced Sr. Engineer, DevOps (DO) to be part of our DevOps team as we work towards full automation of our CI/CD pipelines, in support of the Accumulus platform. The DevOps team deploys product updates and creates and maintains Cloud infrastructure, as well as access to, and management of third-party applications, all through automation in multiple environments. As a secure, global, multi-tenant platform that provides access to highly sensitive and confidential data, the DevOps team is highly versed in secure Cloud architectures. Accordingly, the DO team works in close collaboration with our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to ensure compliance with all pertinent regulatory requirements, like FedRAMP and ISO 27001. Our DevOps engineers are software engineers with deep expertise in Cloud-First design, cloud operations, cloud security and the automation of Cloud SAAS applications and infrastructure. 

• Build automation via tools like Terraform to create and maintain development tools and infrastructure 
• Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats, including leading efforts like third-party Pen Testing 
• Build automation pipelines via GitLab, Jenkins, etc. to create fully automated CI/CD pipelines 
• Automate and improve the release process 
• Contribute to efforts towards best-in-class application monitoring and benchmarking (page load times, load testing, ping testing, etc) 
• Keep operating systems and applications updated via patch management and automation 
• Participate in design reviews to ensure that operational objectives are included and addressed
• Stay current with leading technologies that can help optimally deliver the Accumulus platform 
• Ensure that our platform and infrastructure are inline with our security and coding standards and best practices 
• Participate in the on-call rotation as needed

  • 5+ years experience supporting automation for Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products ● BS in CompSci or related technical degree 
• Experienced programmer, especially with scripting languages favored by DevOps, like Python & Ruby 
• Expert in modern CI/CD and GitOps practices
• Experience with Agile development processes, preferably using Atlassian tools
  • Cloud architectures, especially Microsoft Azure, and Cloud-First development practices ● Excellent written and oral communication skills 
• CI/CD: Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab, Jenkins/Bamboo, Git, containerization ● Monitoring: Azure, Datadog and Splunk, 
• A plus: past experience in regulated environments: GxP Gamp 5, FDA Title 21 CFR Part 11, FedRAMP, ISO27001/27017/27018/27701 and/or SOC 2 
• A plus: familiarity with tools like TerraGrunt
