As the Senior Developer, EDI, you'll be working directly with the XPO EDI onboarding and support teams to verify procedures, ensure business-to-business (B2B) support issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner, accountable for delivering quality working code, and document updates and issues within our incident tracking systems. What you'll do on a typical day:

• Design, develop, and unit test IBM B2B Integrator maps and BP's by applying techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis that satisfies the objectives stated in business requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts, systems engineers, project managers, EDI developers, and operations analysts to design, code review, troubleshoot and implement solutions
• Communicate with external customers, B2B vendors, and collaborate with internal IT and operating system team members to ensure B2B solutions are developed on time and to required specifications
• Evaluate new technologies for inclusion in developed software solutions; introduce new industry standards and techniques that deliver improved B2B solutions; mentor junior EDI developers.
• Independently maintain electronic data exchange between XPO LTL partners and internal operational systems
• Be a leader in a team that is responsible for processing 5MM messages a week

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 2 years of experience in IBM B2Bi, EDI X12 messages (including 204, 990, 214, 210) with a strong background in map development preferably in medium to large corporate environments.
• Experience with data marshalling, data transformation, and data representation technologies (API, JSON, XML).
• Experience with Lightwell Framework add on to B2bi
• Experience with Axway for process communication techniques (AS2, SFTP, HTTP/s)
• Experience with queuing environments, such as Tibco.
• Ability to query relational databases.

It'd be great if you also have:

• 1-3 years of logistics or transportation experience
• SI Certificate and 3 years or 5-7 years' experience

Employees are paid within a salary range based on their experience, skill set, and market.

Colorado annual salary range: $88,000 to $111,000

New York annual salary range: $92,000 to $116,000

Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set (e.g., if an applicant far exceeds the minimum and preferred qualifications for the role).
