Job Description:

Develop new DSP technologies to improve the sound quality of a wide variety of product. Invent new techniques (typically written in MATLAB) and translating them into working code (typically CIC++) on development and/or production hardware. Work on technology invention, code development, testing and debugging. Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations related to the technology and code. Work with research and product development teams in the US and Korea. Invent new techniques and transitioning code used in proof-of-concept prototypes onto mass production hardware using floating- and fixed-point DSPs. Analyze test results and report to management. 10% domestic and international travel required.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

• Master’s degree or a foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and two (2) years of experience in job offered or any engineering related job titles.
• Requires two (2) years of experience in the following:
  • (1) Working with coding development in C, ARM, memory management, low power, and machine learning;
  • (2) Working with signal processing, audio processing, FFT, sampling rate conversion, adaptive filtering, echo cancellation, linear and nonlinear control;
  • (3) MATLAB / Simulink;
  • (4) Conducting experiments / Analyzing test results; and
  • (5) Documenting research and test results. Requires education or experience working with acoustic measurements, loudspeakers, and room correction.
