Senior Engineer - Filtration

What you'll do:

This role is part of Filtration engineering team at Eaton innovation center in Pune. The primary responsibilities will include design, development and sustenance engineering of industrial, hydraulic and life science filters

What are the responsibilities?

• Create technical proposals, manufacturing drawings / BOMs for filter solutions, elements, tools as well as the necessary product documentation
• Engineering responsibility to resolve production non-conformance, quality issues, and RCAs
• Control and coordinate efficient development of new products based on market / customer needs
• Support development of product sizing and selection tools, as well as development and / or enhancement of standard working procedures

• Drive continuous improvement, standardization, VAVE, and other strategic initiatives
• Work closely and collaboratively with global engineering teams.
• Possess project management skills to independently lead product develop projects involving multiple stake holders.
• Completes other engineering related assignment as directed.
• Provides appropriate technical assistance to other value streams like supply chain, sales etc.

Qualifications:

• A Bachler or master's degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering discipline with 5+ years of experience in technology development, engineering, or similar functions. Experience in filtration design is preferred.

Skills:

• Requires in depth knowledge of pressure vessel design and mechanical calculations. Exposure to process design, and filter design is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of engineering process needs in design and operations, key business drivers and industry practices
• Excellent communication skills to articulate strategies and drive a coordinated action plan.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to prioritize and communicate clearly to stake holders.
• Strong solid modelling skills in software like Creo or solid works.
• Ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail, and multitasking are essential.
• Affinity with filtration and/or separation as essential technology in process industry
• An ability to work in an international environment with functional teams spread over various regions including corresponding willingness to travel
• Self-starter and highly motivated to achieve results with limited direct supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, a proficiency in MS Office
