Rate of Pay: $175,101.16/per year
Duties: Design, build, and expand backend data infrastructure, including data pipelines, ETL, infrastructure as code (IaC), data warehouses, and data APIs. Build infrastructure as code (IaC) systems to enable the team to build, change, and version infrastructure safely and efficiently. Expand functionality within existing systems and tooling. Translate complex business requirements into usable, scalable data models and systems. Automate data integration and loading, such as, Snowflake, Terraform, Amazon Redshift, Java, Python, S3 and PostgreSQL. Mentor other engineers and analysts on the team and share technical knowledge.Â
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field or foreign equivalent degree. The required experience must be post-baccalaureate and progressive in nature. Position requires 5 years of experience with Programming languages, such as Java or Python; BI tools: Looker, Tableau, Kibana, or Chart.io; and Database technologies: Snowflake, Redshift, AWS Redshift, or PostgreSQL. Position requires 5 years of experience in building data pipelines, custom ETL processes, and data warehouses; and Improving software products through engineering best practices such as refactoring, reusability, Test Driven Development (TDD), and continuous integration.Â
All of the required experience may have been gained concurrently. Telecommuting available up to full-time. Employee may reside in and work from any of the following 27 U.S. states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, and WI.
