Job Title: Sr. Engineer II

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Summary of Position:

Alcon is looking to hire a Senior Engineer II to join our team at Fort Worth, TX in United States. You will be responsible on applying mechanical and electrical engineering principles to develop medical devices that meet customer technical/functional specifications as well as manufacturing cost/efficiency requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop next-generation intraocular lens.
• Create a design and manufacturing process that will produce prototypes for testing.
• Optimize the design and manufacturing process to meet the product requirements.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 2 Years of Relevant Experience

Work hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

Work Set-up: Hybrid Work-Onsite M-T-Th, WFH W-F

Travel Requirements: 10% (domestic)

Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• Programming and operating advanced diamond turning system.
• Programming and operating high-precision milling systems.
• Optical injection molding and tooling development.
• Optical metrology and process development.
• CAD modelling and self-driven prototype development
