Job Title: Senior Engineer, Java Full Stack
Current Need:Â We are seeking a experienced and dynamic Java Full Stack Engineer to join our team of B2B eCommerce technology team. This role is critical in developping our ecommerce application and engineering strategy, ensuring our applications are secure, robust, scalable, and secure.
Technical Expertise:Â Actively participate in the design and development of critical projects and demonstrate room for growth into a P5 level as an architect. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers. Troubleshoot complex technical issues. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to standards.Â
Practice Expertise:Â Provide expertise within a specific practice area (e.g. Engineering, DevOps). Mentor and develop other engineers. Drive continuous improvement. Contribute to best practices.
Collaboration:Â Collaborate effectively with other engineers and stakeholders. Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams. Foster a culture of knowledge sharing. Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Critical skills & Minimum Requirements:
- Atleast 10+yrs of strong programming skills in a modern language like Java, J2EE, Springboot, Microservices and experience with modern web frameworks
- Ability to build end to end full stack Java application – with React /Angular/ Jquery
- Experience with SQL databases
- Expertise in cloud-native architectures, preferably Azure, including experience with services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Functions, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Expertise with GCP, middleware, APIs, microservices, and container technologies and DevSecOps practices within the development lifecycle.
- Strong programming skills in a modern language like Java, and experience with modern web frameworks such as React.Â
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code for provisioning and configuration management across the DevOps architecture.
- Deep understanding of architectural patterns, design principles, and best practices for building scalable, resilient, and secure applications
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus among stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP Hybris or B2B ecommerce platforms
- Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio.
- Familiarity with data streaming platforms like Kafka and event-driven architectures.
- Experience designing and building large-scale ecommerce applications.
- Track record of leading successful digital transformations or cloud migrations.
Travel requirement:Â 10-15%
Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S, now or in the future, without the support from McKesson.
Relocation is NOT budgeted for this position

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position
$125,000 - $208,400
