Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: 3+ Years
• Extensive experience in Network and Security technologies.
• Extensive experience with Cisco network technologies, including Cisco IOS and NX-OS.
• Proficient in Cisco network design, TAC support, and deployment of Cisco LAN Catalyst and Nexus, WAN ISR, and ASR products.
• Strong expertise in routing and performance, including implementation and troubleshooting of BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and QoS/CoS policies.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex LAN and WAN routing, spanning tree, and general network health issues.
• Experience dealing with Service Providers for overseeing Layer 1, 2, and 3 issues.
• Knowledge of switching to CCNP level preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills, with experience in working with an Enterprise Ticketing system such as ServiceNow.
• Cisco Certifications: CCNP or equivalent preferred.
• Effective English written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in LAN/WAN/WLAN, Internet, Remote Access, Firewalls, Proxy, DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM), PAM (Privileged Access Management), NAC (Network Access Control), and Network monitoring solutions.
• Experience with Cloud technologies and providers.
• Balanced approach aligning technological solutions with business needs.
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey messages clearly and structured, tailored to the audience and mode of communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding the client’s business use cases and technical requirements and be able to convert them into technical design which elegantly meets the requirements.
• Mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers.
• Identifying different solutions and being able to narrow down the best option that meets the client’s requirements.
• Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation
• Writing and reviewing design document explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for the developers
• Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed.
• Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it
• Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects
• Resolving issues that are raised during code/review, through exhaustive systematic analysis of the root cause, and being able to justify the decision taken.
• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
