Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Engineer, Operator Station Electronic Systems for John Deere Dubuque Workslocated in Dubuque, IA, you will l ead development of cab systems component including but not limited to Sealed Switch Modules, wiper systems, radios, various switches, HVAC, etc. In addition, you will...

• Develop Operator Station component technology by collaborating with various suppliers.
• Define controller architecture for current and future Operator Station programs.
• Lead cross discipline engineers to define and develop product and software requirements for embedded systems.

What Skills You Require

• 5 or more years of off highway electronics/electrical systems development.
• 3 or more years of experience in developing or testing software or developing requirement documents.
• Experience working with system requirements, electronic hardware, circuit design and analysis.
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to break complex tasks down into executable action items.

What Makes You Stand Out

• Technical skills and knowledge in CAN communications protocols such as the SAE J1939.
• Technical skills and knowledge in LIN and Ethernet communications protocols.
• Systems Engineering education, training or demonstrated capability.
• Experience with Agile software development practices.
• Demonstrated capability performing in an engineering team environment and interfacing with engineers and personnel of other disciplines. Including leading development projects, architecture development and mentoring team members.

Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Software engineering, Physics, or other related discipline with experience.
