The Analog Devices (ADI) Garage is a high-energy, fast-paced, advanced R&D team within ADI which develops ground-breaking products at our downtown Boston location. Our mission is to identify and develop new technologies, capabilities, and business models critical to ADI's future success. The projects we work on span exciting domains including artificial intelligence, robotics, 3D imaging, synthetic biology, green energy, human-machine interfaces, advanced biosensors and more.
The Emerging Business & Applications Team within ADI's CTO Office in Boston, MA, is seeking a dynamic Research Analyst to explore several of the domains above. Self-motivated, curios and thoughtful about the intersection of business and emerging technology, you'll explore, aggregate, and synthesize information complex ecosystems to inform strategy. The ideal candidate will also have experience in data mining, automating, scripting, with proficiency in python and APIs are highly encouraged to apply.
In your first year you'll research multiple industries, technologies, and application trends. You'll also explore ecosystems, assess the competitive landscapes, create business models, and provide insights into developing visions for successful product commercialization strategies.
In this role you'll gain visibility into next generation technology, business insights and emerging needs of customers as you work alongside a world class team of experts to solve the world's toughest problems. Strongly preferred qualifications
- 1+ years of industry experience (coops, internships or summer jobs)
- Demonstrated experience working on complex, multifaceted projects (academic or professional)
- Proficiency with web services and use of Python and REST APIs
- Experienced in data synthesis and visualization
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
