Job Description:

• Analyze customers' needs and determine the software and hardware requirements to develop fully functional prototypes from electronics and signal processing algorithms to computational models.
• Design computational imaging algorithms in order to correct image degradation effects due to complex optical systems.
• Implement real-time computational imaging systems on SRA's desktop and mobile GPU and DSP platforms.
• Integrate the company's hardware peripherals into real-time distributed software systems.
• Design and simulate control system and navigation for robotic prototypes.
• Responsible for fabrication, assembly, and testing of analog RF and digital electronics and prototypes.
• Co-design electronics and algorithms for SRA's mixed-signal RF systems.
• Work with SRA's Engineers, Designers, and Scientists to explore and identify the directions for new projects.
• Research new topics in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Physics.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or a foreign equivalent
• Three (3) years of experience in the job offered, as a Computer and Information Research Scientist, or in a related occupation
• Must also have three (3) years of experience in building real world prototypes that combine both software and hardware
  • PCB design and simulation using LTSpice
  • Microcontroller firmware and embedded systems
  • Algorithm development MatLab or Python
  • Code optimization for high performance in C++.
