Job Description:

• Research and develop 6G cellular communication for radio access networks focusing on PHY/MAC layers.
• Conduct link-level/system-level modeling and algorithm/solution/framework development for key 6G candidate technologies including AI/ML-based air interface design.
• Contribute to standardization development organizations including the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) on beyond 5G and 6G standardization including intelligent network control.
• Develop algorithms to determine root causes for cellular network degradation and automate troubleshooting process.
• Evaluate systems and recommend design modifications and repair.
• Develop applications and modifications for electronic properties used in parts and systems to improve technical performance.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or related field, or a foreign equivalent, plus 1 year of post-baccalaureate experience in Python and Python based ML modules including Scikitlearn, Keras, Tensor flow, Keras-RL, PyTorch and Pandas.
• Skills must include: Digital signal processing; Design next generation wireless communication products; and applying AI/ML for designing optimized wireless systems targeting different use-cases.

Compensation for this role is expected to be between $124,987 and $210,550 but may be higher or lower in other states due to geographic differentials in the labor market.  Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
