THE ROLE: Senior Engineer, Software

Presidio is seeking a Senior Engineer, Softwareto join our team in a remote capacity.This Engineer will be part of our internal development team working on our custom in-house software solution myOrders and integrations with our systems and external customer and vendor data. This is an opportunity to work REMOTELY (no travel required).

Key Responsibilities:

• Development of robust and user-friendly .NET-based web applications.
• Work closely with business analysts to design, estimate and develop user focused solutions.
• Perform code reviews
• Develop and implement functionality using Javascript frameworks
• Develop and implement API's and Infrastructure software
• Develop and implement efficient data structures following standards and best practices
• Support the DevOps team in maintaining code branching strategies, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of OOP and common design patterns.
• Thorough knowledge of C#, ASP, ASP.NET, and SQL Server
• Knowledge of JQuery, Javascript and HTML/HTML5
• Knowledge of XML, JSON, SOAP and REST web services
• Knowledge of Javascript MVC framework VUE.js
• Experience with source control like Github
• Experience with ServiceNow or other ticketing solution
• Experience interfacing with users and analysts to define business requirements and translate to technical requirements
• Team player

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent work experience and/or military experience.
• 8+ years of programming experience.
• 6 years of experience with Agile Development methodologies (SCRUM) and service-oriented architecture.
