Galileo Financial Technologies, LLC seeks Senior Engineer, Software - Analytical Platform in Seattle, WA:
Job Duties: Work on automation and improvement of data exchanges and data pipelines between
internal and external teams. Design and build infrastructure and services that will be used by multiple
teams and products for their data analytics needs. Work in a collaborative manner with other engineers,
product managers, data scientists, etc. to build comprehensive solutions quickly with high quality.
Define and work with others to drive world-class service availability and quality. Telecommuting is an
option.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science,
Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the field
of software engineering/program analysis or three (3) years of experience in the job offered OR
Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a
related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of
software engineering/program analysis or five (5) years of experience in the job offered.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Python; (2) Databases; (3) AWS EMR/EKS; (4) Data pipelines/storage; (5)
REST API; (6) Cloud Infrastructure as code; (7) Full stack Software Development; (8) Data Engineering; (9)
Streaming Data Services; and (10) Machine Learning pipelines. Any suitable combination of education,
training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
