As the Senior Engineer, Software Engineering, you'll responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining software applications and components; evaluating software from other sources using technical, mathematical and scientific techniques, to address specific business requirements. What you'll do on a typical day:

Determines and gathers work estimates for projects.

• Develop and unit test new software by applying techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis that satisfies the objectives stated in business requirements. Follow industry best practices, techniques and XPO standardized processes that deliver quality software solutions. Be available for testing/support on scheduled deployment dates that are designated by the standardized change management process
• Collaborate with architects, other systems engineers, project managers, systems administrators, and operations analysts to design, code review, troubleshoot and implement solutions
• Evaluate and select process and logic patterns, programming language constructs, data storage methods, and operating environment interfaces that effectively satisfy business requirements and quantifiable measures; develop appropriate programs and systems documentation according to established department standards
• Evaluate new technologies for inclusion in developed software solutions; introduce new industry standards and techniques that deliver improved software solutions; mentor junior software engineers

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or related technical field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2 years of experience in software solutions development
• Strong knowledge of Android, C#, .Net
• Working experience with the industry standard IDEs - Visual Studio

It'd be great if you also have:

• Experience with consuming distributed data services (REST APIs, Messaging Buses)
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (DB2/UDB, Oracle, MySQL, SQLLite)
• Experience with data marshalling, data transformation, and data representation technologies (Model entities, JSON,
• HTML, XML, Stylesheets).
• Experience with TeamCity, GIT and Enterprise Git Hub

• Experience with Xamarin, Xamarin Framework, React JS, Flutter
• Xamarin Certified Mobile Professional / Developer
