As a Snap Engineering team member, you'll help us build the future of communication.
We're looking for a Senior Engineering Manager, Marketplace to join Snap!
What you'll do:

• Define and shape the technical roadmap for all projects within Ad Marketplace
• Collaborate cross-functionally, provide technical guidance, and manage teams of front-line engineers and independent contributors

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong management experience driving an operational team that is responsive to revenue and product escalations
• Effectiveness at leading and executing large, complex technical initiatives
• In-depth understanding of ad marketplace

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience managing a team
• Track record of building, growing, and mentoring high performing large teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to grow new ad products
• Knowledge on topics that are related to advertiser budget optimization, revenue sharing, valuation modeling, demand optimization and analytic, market counterfactual analysis & modeling, ad quality and or space optimization
• Deep knowledge of and experience working with a diverse group of engineers

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

• Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) : The base salary range for this position is $265,000 - 385,000 annually
• Zone B : The base salary range for this position is $252,000 - 366,000 annually
• Zone C : The base salary range for this position is $225,000 - $327,000 annually
• This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs
