The team

Join our Trading API & Market Data team within the Trading & Market Risk (TMR) Group. Our mission is to ensure the delivery of reliable trading API endpoints and market data to a diverse range of clients including both internal users such as UIs and external clients like High-Frequency Traders (HFTs). We play a crucial role in managing the transmission layer of all trading data within our organization.

The opportunity

• Collaborating with Product Managers to define the scope of features and assess capacity ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.

• Assisting Tech Leads in team management and ensuring they have the necessary resources to fulfill their responsibilities.

• Coordinating with Tech Leads across different domains including C++ and Go to facilitate seamless collaboration.

• Hosting meetings and ensuring follow-up actions updating JIRA to maintain transparency within the team.

• Addressing technical challenges by liaising with SREs and other teams to unblock impediments when needed.

• Providing constructive feedback to team members to support their professional development and growth.

Skills you should HODL

• Must possess experience working with trading platforms.

• Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and languages including C++ and Rust.

• Proficiency in Go programming language.

• Demonstrated experience in managing teams over multiple years is essential. Not afraid of being hands-on.

• Ability to navigate through adversity and effectively clarify requirements and scopes particularly in situations of uncertainty.

• Good communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly and effectively.

• Extensive experience in software design architecture development integration

• An advanced degree in computer science or engineering discipline.

• 8+ years leading engineering teams.

• 2+ years of experience managing remote teams.
