The team you'll be part of

The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia's Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

What you will learn and contribute to

Will focus primarily on Management of ASIC and Systems Development, Testing, and Manufacturing. Among other items, will play a role in all responsibilities listed below.

• Develop & maintain system & board build & distribution plans.
• Support purchasing and engineering teams to ensure build & distribution plans are achieved.
• Driving & documenting weekly team conference calls.
• Develop & maintain budget for the hardware team prototypes.
• Program Manager/ Interface to ASIC Suppliers
• Consolidate and generate management reports for weekly status from engineering teams for Program Leads and management team



 
• Your skills and experience
  
  Bachelors Science in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering.
  
  (Mechanical or other type of degree with suitable background acceptable)
  
  Comfortable working in the background & is good at figuring out what is the most important/highest priority work w/o much supervision. Having experience with ASICs or IC development is going to be extremely useful. General familiarity with system level development is extremely useful. On occasion requires complex project plan development (at the beginning of a new system e.g.) in MS Project. Many of the tools used are built in MS Excel and so proficiency in this tool is required.
