Job Description

Senior Cloud Data Integration Developer with hands-on experience in data integration using AWS technology stack. In this role you will focus on designing and implementing subject area specific Infomarts using Enterprise Standard Output Format (SOF) Models, required for consumers - Reporting Platforms, downstream applications, Adhoc reporting via Tableau. Responsibilities include scrubbing data; writing testing scripts; performing quality control on data and data storage; enabling data access; identifying or developing solutions to funnel data into a single platform; and developing and documenting processes for data validation and normalization, archiving, and backup. In this role you will support the delivery of Enterprise Data Services related projects focused on data provisioning to consumers by working closely with Enterprise Data Platform Development Team, Risk & Reg Reporting Tech Teams, Chief Data Office, downstream development teams, project and product managers for end-to-end testing

Responsibilities

• Design, Develop, Implement, and Support subject area Infomarts
• Build extensible data acquisition and integration solutions to meet the functional and non-functional requirements of the business
• Implement processes and logic to extract, transform, and distribute data across from EDP to downstreams
• Optimize usage of Infomarts to provide superior performance to users and downstreams
• Provide problem-solving expertise and complex analysis of data to develop business intelligence integration designs
• Work with business users to translate functional specifications into technical designs for implementation and deployment
• Experience working with Agile teams and JIRA
• Ensure high quality and optimum performance of data integration systems in order to meet business solution

Experience

• 5-6 years' experience in managing ETL pipelines using Informatica and/or SSIS along with structured query language (SQL) database development, SQL queries, data structures, stored procedures, Application Programming Interface (API) architecture, Unix/Linux, DB2, Postgres, Unix, TOAD, PL/SQL, GitHub, Autosys, Tableau
• 5-6 years' experience in agile software development lifecycle activities
• 2+ years' experience in Cloud Data Integration projects using AWS, Python, Hive
• Experience in end-to-end design and build of near-real time and batch data pipelines
• Familiarity with delivering data solutions and architecture using Amazon Web Services (AWS) services like Kinesis, Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Simple Storage Service (S3), Elastic Map Reduce (EMR), Spark, Athena, Redshift, Lambda, Relational Database Service (RDS), DynamoDB, Glue Catalog, and Athena preferred
• Familiarity with data architecture, data integration, data governance, and data lineage concepts
• Exposure to Business Intelligence/Reporting Tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
• Experience with NOSQL databases (Dynamo, etc.) a plus
• Conversant with Metadata driven architectures (metadata tagging, data classifications, lineage, discovery)

Education

Bachelors' Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
