A bit about the role

hackajob has recently launched in North America, and we are looking to hire one of our first Senior Sales Development Representatives to be part of a small team who are looking to have maximum impact

The Senior Sales Development Representative at hackajob isn't your typical "SDR" role. The team we've built is not only responsible for qualifying leads, setting meetings, and building pipelines but also much more than that. Your mission

  • Identify New Business Opportunities with companies who are an ideal profile for our Enterprise Technical Recruitment Solution.
  • Effectively communicate hackajob's expertise to potential prospects in a well-organized, thoughtful approach.
  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting via phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn.
  • Thoroughly qualify leads, including identifying pains and problems with current solutions.
  • Set Discovery Calls with leads for Account Executives.
  • Manage pipeline and outreach via CRM and Sales Automation tools.

A bit about you

  • Experience selling to Enterprise organisations.
  • Comfortable at initiating phone conversations, navigating questions, and overcoming objections
  • Proficiency using CRM, such as Salesforce
  • Experience of hitting KPIs.
  • Self-starter, confident with owning responsibilities, and experienced in seeing projects through from end to end.
  • There is no I in a team, no working in silos; we help each other along the way, and intra-team knowledge sharing is intrinsic to hackajob success.

What you'll learn in the role

This is an incredible opportunity for anyone who has already gained some sales experience and is looking to develop and take that next step in their career. You will have training and coaching in the following areas.

  • Account identification: how to identify and spot triggers that indicate an account has a high chance of converting.
  • Executive presence: how to mirror and match your prospect's energy to be seen as an equal in the conversation and ask the questions you want. You'll also be taught how to tailor your messaging depending on the persona, e.g. ATL vs BTL.
  • Cold calling: You'll have weekly calling reviews with your manager to give feedback on your structure, tonality, discovery questions, objection handling, and roleplays.
  • Emailing: you'll have email audits take place to review and get feedback on your messaging and be taught how to personalise at scale and ensure relevancy.
  • Consistency: on-going weekly sales training with the wider sales team on methodologies to level us up as a team.
