Senior Estimator/Project Manager Instructor (bilingual )
Job Description
Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Senior Construction Estimating and Blueprint Instructor. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the construction industry, proficiency in reading blueprints and performing takeoffs, and fluency in Spanish and English to teach and communicate with our bilingual team members.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement training programs for construction estimating, blueprints, and takeoffs
• Teach courses on construction estimating, blueprints, and takeoffs to team members and trainees
• Evaluate team members and trainees to ensure their comprehension of the training
• Provide constructive feedback to trainees and team members to help them improve their skills
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure training programs are aligned with company goals and objectives
• Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources
• Travel to company locations to provide on-site training, as needed
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating and blueprint reading
• Bilingual in Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
• Experience in teaching or training in construction industry preferred
• Ability to travel as needed to provide on-site training
