The Senior Event Planner at Northern Trust is responsible for the planning and execution of events, meetings and conferences. This position will work with business unit marketing professionals, client servicing and sales teams to deliver in-person, virtual and hybrid events that support strategic initiatives for both personal and institutional teams.
Responsibilities include:
• Site Selection• Project Management• Agenda Development• Vendor Selection• Internal & External Communication Strategy• F&B Arrangements• Tradeshow/Industry Conference Booth Oversight• A/V Set Up• Contract Negotiation• Onsite Execution• Post Event Follow up & Surveying• Collateral Development• Social Media• Sponsorship Activation• Budget preparation and reconciliation
Qualifications:
Seeking candidate with 5-10 years corporate experience. Ideal candidate possesses CMP or other industry designations.
