Position Description
This Sr Federal Account Director will have R&R for selling into & supporting US Federal Gov't Agencies (Civilian, Defense & Intel), Federal System Integrators & Defense Contractors. The successful candidate will formulate robust account strategies which result in broad/strong customer relationships as well as sales of Communications Infrastructure solutions into & across their assigned customer base (with the expectation of meeting/exceeding monthly, quarterly & annual sales goals. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the communications infrastructure space with the ability to work on large, complex deals applying a consultative and trusted advisor approach.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year University (MBA preferred)
  • 5+ years of experiences selling into the US Federal Government (directly or indirectly)
  • 5+ years of expertise selling into a specific Federal Vertical (Civilian, Defense or Intel)
  • 5+ years of experience selling within the communications infrastructure space
  • Strong understand of Federal contracting
  • Existing understanding of & relationships within the broader Federal technology ecosystem
  • Previous experience working for or with holders of the GSA Networx, GSA EIS & DISA GNS contract vehicles
  • Ability to qualify for a US Government clearance
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Demonstrated success and consistency in achieving targeted sales goals.
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship building and maintaining skills.
  • Thorough understanding of account management and the strategic selling process.
  • Effective problem solving, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 30-50% of the time
