Role Overview
We are seeking aSenior Field Application Engineerwith strongindustrial robotics and automationexperience. You’ll be the technical expert on robot setup, integration, and troubleshooting — ensuring our AI vision systems work seamlessly in factory environments.
Responsibilities
• Act as lead technical contact for customers during robot + vision system deployment.
• Program and integrate industrial robots (ABB, Fanuc, UR, Kawasaki, KUKA, etc.).
• Configure PLCs, safety I/O, and automation cell components.
• Work with vision and AI engineers to integrate cameras and software with robots.
• Troubleshoot kinematics, calibration, and path planning issues.
• Train customer engineers on robotic system operation.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s in Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field.
• 5–7+ years experience withindustrial robot integrationand factory automation.
• Strong understanding ofPLC/controls, pneumatics, conveyors, sensors.
• Experience withvision-guided roboticspreferred.
• Hands-on, able to work directly on customer shop floors.
• Excellent communication for customer-facing technical roles.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
