We transform traditional conveyor systems into intelligent, three-dimensional package handling networks, dramatically improving dispatch efficiency and operational productivity. Our versatile platform seamlessly integrates cutting-edge software and hardware, offering a comprehensive solution that optimizes multiple facets of the supply chain.Β

We’re a close-knit team that is well funded and are quickly expanding in order to bring our product to market. We are seeking teammates who take pride in their work and who get excited about building new systems with significant responsibility.

We're seeking a versatile Senior Field Engineer with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and software integration. This hands-on role will be responsible for ensuring the successful deployment and optimization of our automated material handling solutions at customer locations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform testing, calibration, and optimization of mechanical, electrical, and control system components
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to hardware, software, and system integration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, controls, and software) to identify and implement solutions
  • Provide hands-on technical support and training to customer staff on system operation and maintenance
  • Develop and document field service procedures, best practices, and troubleshooting guides
  • Collect and analyze performance data to drive continuous improvement of our products and deployment processes
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the deployment and warranty phases
  • Travel frequently (up to 50% of the time) to customer sites for installation, maintenance, and support activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, material handling, or field service engineering
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
  • Hands-on experience with installation, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and control system components
  • Familiarity with programming and configuration of industrial control systems, PLCs, and embedded software
  • Ability to interpret and execute software test procedures, as well as troubleshoot and run diagnostic routines
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interface with cross-functional teams and customers
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge automation technology with real-world impact
  • Hands-on experience with advanced robotics and material handling systems
  • Competitive salary and benefits package, including travel compensation
  • Career growth opportunities in a rapidly expanding company
  • Chance to play a key role in high-stakes projects

We are headquartered in Alameda, CA with an easy commute via Bart, Ferry, Amtrak and free parking. We take the well being of our teammates seriously, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and more!
