What you will do

• Support financial month end close, completing all relevant financial reporting matters per Stryker policies, procedures, and deadlines.
• Prepare month end variance analysis of the POM Medical operations P&L as compared to recent projections and budget. Present variance commentary to GQO Instruments Finance Leadership Team.
• Support the development of projections and budget. Present to GQO Instruments Finance Leadership team.
• Interact with GQO Instruments Finance Leadership team on Actuals, Budgets, Forecasts, and other financial reporting matters.
• Play an active role in improving processes and assist in leading process improvement projects relating to the financial close.
• Create weekly forecast of relevant financial metrics, including but not limited to, Overhead Absorption, Purchase Price Variance, and Gross Inventory. Present this forecast to GQO Finance Leadership team.
• Complete annual inventory cost setting and interact with relevant partners in accounting and IT to complete cost roll at beginning of each year.
• Support an environment of financial compliance ensuring audit readiness.
• Partner with site operations to drive financial understanding and KPI metrics reporting (productivity, overtime, etc.).

What you need

• 4+ years work experience required.
• Manufacturing / cost accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting practices and procedures.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with Excel, QuickBooks, SAP, PowerBi and Hyperion preferred.
• $65,400 - $132,300 salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

The candidate will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance to our office in Moorpark, CA. You will need to be in the office 3-5 days a week but will have the flexibility to work from home on the other days.
