Senior Finance Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Associate with 3 to 7 years of relevant experience to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Senior Finance Associate will be to handle Overall process of Finance and Accounts team, candidate will have a strong background in working with Software as a Service (SaaS) companies and possess excellent accounting process knowledge and communication

Skills Responsibilities:

Understand customer contract and raise billing as per the terms, apply receipts against invoices raised, apply strong collection methods of AR

Recognize revenue and keep track of billing schedule, manage unearned and unbilled

Process accounts payable vendor invoices, process payments and track AP aging

Maintain payroll register, compute tax deductions, process expenses reimbursement and salary payments, manage Flexi benefits for employee, drive other tax benefits schemes for employee like Car lease, etc.

Process TDS/GST payments and return filing on due date

Process PF/professional tax payments and return filing on due date

Process income tax advance tax payment, income tax return filing

Participate in Month end close activities and book various journals

Prepare PL & BS and review to identify missed out entries

Prepare Metrics applicable to SaaS entities

Manage to address audit queries for stat and internal audits

Brings process improvements by implementing best practices

Requirements:

B.com / M.com or CA / CS / ICWA inter with 3 to 7 years of experience in SaaS companies or IT companies with a complete knowledge of peculiarity of SaaS entities.

Strong knowledge and understanding of Indian accounting standards/US GAAP, working knowledge of various process of accounting like AP, AR, GL, etc.

Previous experience working in a SaaS company or technology-driven organization is a must.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in using excel, ERP tools, other tools generally used by account and finance team.

Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
