The Sr. Finance Manager, Cash Flow supports the reporting, forecast, and planning of Balance Sheet, Operating Cash Flow and Capital Expenditures. In addition, this person is responsible for detailed analytics to gain greater insight into working components of Free Cash Flow, communication with business partners, and assistance with building of appropriate targets for efficient allocation of cash. This manager will be responsible for leading the strategic goal of cash conversion cycle improvement through leadership of the team and partnership across the business and with senior leadership. In this role excellence, accuracy, and attention to detail are critical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the McKesson Med-Surg (MMS) Balance Sheet and Cash Flow monthly forecast, quarterly forecast, annual financial plan and strategic plan
  • Build relationships with business owners to understand working capital drivers / levers
  • Design, communicate, and implement analytics to gain greater insight into working components of Free Cash Flow and drive strategic improvement of cash flow metrics across various functional areas
  • Prepare and present monthly updates to Senior Leadership including the completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual presentations for use by President/CFO to present to McK senior leaders as related to Cash Flow and Capital Expenditures
  • Lead the MMS Cash Flow Finance team, managing two direct reports
  • Assists in preparation and setup of planning system and completes data loads as needed, working across FP&A and Financial Systems teams
  • Support reporting and validations throughout the Plan and forecast processes
  • Coordination with other functions including teams responsible for inventory management, accounts receivable, cash initiatives, accounting, and other FP&A teams
  • Ad-hoc analysis for executive financial questions

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires

    9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of

    supervisory and/or management experience.

  • 5+ years of financial or accounting experience and demonstrated management and leadership skills highly preferred.

  • Experience in financial modeling, including comprehensive expertise in Excel and related applications
  • Highly analytical and understanding of financial levers and application of them
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and to succinctly summarize information into executive summaries
  • Elevated attention to detail and naturally curious
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple internal customer demands

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Understanding of core accounting concepts (GAAP)
  • Experience with JDE, Essbase, SAP, or other large ERP systems

Education

  • BS/BA in Finance, Economics, or other quantitative discipline with record of strong achievement
  • MBA preferred

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$103,500 - $172,500
