An exciting opportunity to join our customer's team as a Senior Finance Manager working on their digital transformation plan. In this role you will support the end-to-end design process of strategy, by actively working with partners to track process performance and drive continuous improvement.
Please note that you are required to work from our customer’s office in Dublin at least once a week, with the option to work from home on the remaining days.
Key responsibilities & duties include:Â Â
- Define and maintain standardised financial processes, continuously assessing to improve efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness
- Establish key performance indicators and metrics to measure process performance and regularly monitor performance to identify areas for improvement
- Generate and present reports to senior management and the governance groups, highlighting achievements, challenges and proposed improvements, based on internal monitoring and external benchmarking
- Develop and maintain documentation, manuals, and training materials as required
- Partner with internal and external partners to effectively manage the project lifecycle to ensure delivery of desired outcome on a timely basis and within approved budget
Required Skills:Â
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the finance domain
- Proficiency in leveraging financial systems and technologies to streamline processes in financial controllership and planning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distil complex technical information into clear simple messages
- Strong project management skills and comfortable communicating ideas to senior leadership
- Knowledge of financial master data structures and reporting
- Experience in designing enterprise data management and reporting solutions
Desirable skills:Â
- A qualification in a relevant field, such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Experience supporting a CFO/CTO function on data transformation
