This finance position will be dedicated to executing on our inorganic growth strategy. You will be involved in all financial related activities from due diligence through integration. You will be leading the finance integration activities and effectively collaborating and communicating with the target finance team, the Rockwell integration team, and the extended Rockwell finance team including many financial specialists.

Responsibilities:

Lead finance M&A due diligence and finance integration activities. Work directly with the acquired finance team and the business segment finance team to execute the financial integration plans. Will also collaborate with many internal Rockwell finance specialists throughout the due diligence and integration process.

Take the lead on all financial dimensions of the M&A transaction

  • Customize/optimize the playbook to each scenario
  • Attend all meetings; identify any key findings from finance due diligence following finance due diligence playbook
  • Work with the Corporate Development team in developing potential adjustments to model based on due diligence findings
  • Keep all finance specialists up to date on integration pipeline and throughout deal cycle
  • Ensure integration plans are built out prior to deal closure and plans understood by both target finance as appropriate and Rockwell finance teams
  • Coordinate work across many finance specialists
  • Take the lead on all finance integration plans working closely with the Integration Management Office as well as many across the finance organization
  • Provide regular updates to segment finance leaders on progress of finance integration plans.

Support and improve the finance M&A practice

  • Continue development of finance integration playbooks and documentation
  • Identify repeatable practices and create constant improvement
  • Seek/Evaluate/Determine best practices and drive adoption

Skills you will need

  • Broad expertise/exposure across Finance disciplines (strategy, controls, systems, FP&A, Tax/Treasury/International)
  • Familiar with broad Corporate Development, due diligence, and international integration-related challenges
  • Possesses balance of process capability with service/partnering
  • Act with highest Ethics & Integrity, and a sense of urgency
  • Entrepreneurial problem solver and organizationally nimble
  • Comfort with ambiguity; collaborative
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English both orally and in writing into a form suitable for an executive-level audience, with strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing work environment with many competing priorities
  • Ability to build strong relationships in a matrix environment across multiple functions, businesses, and geographies
  • Cultural sensitivity to lead and excel in a diverse, global environment

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or related business field
  • MBA and/or CPA a plus
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of people management experience and progressive finance/accounting experience including technical financial planning, accounting and control, US GAAP, corporate governance, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and other statutory requirements
  • M&A / Integration experience
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated experience as a change leader
  • Prior experience as a finance leader in a publicly traded, or global company with significant development activities
  • Blackbelt/Greenbelt certification a plus
