This position is based in San Jose or  Draper.  We support a hybrid work environment with on-site and remote work days.

This role will be the key partner to our R&D leaders within the company.  You will need to develop strong and trusted partnerships with business partners and provide accurate and timely reporting, analysis and insights.  This includes the responsibility for developing and establishing KPI’s to influence the success of the organization.  

• Form trusted advisory partnerships with members of the Engineering and Product organizations to guide achievement of operational goals and strategy
• Responsible for development and coordination of budgets, forecasts and business analysis in support of the CTO and CPO organizations.  
• Partner with leaders to deliver continuous improvement and momentum across department velocity, scale, efficiency and quality.  Drive the underlying financial and operational analysis.
• Produce robust, proactive financial analysis for business partners, communicating accurate assessments of financial performance to ensure continued business alignment with corporate objectives
• Assist in accounting processes related to close; work closely with R&D and Accounting to forecast and track activities for internal functions and external vendors as part of period close process 
• Lead business case, financial analysis and value creation for strategic initiatives including but not limited to infrastructure spend and globalization of engineering
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and participate in various other financial projects
• All other duties as assigned

• Proven success in stakeholder management; ability to serve as trusted advisor and gain a seat at the table with the Engineering and Product leadership team
• Experience working with engineering departments and familiarity with engineering systems and processes
• Success in creation and communication of operational and financial results at an executive level
• Experience providing support in the scaling of the data center infrastructure along with experience with AWS is preferred
• Background in using Adaptive Insights for budgeting and monitoring results
• Ability to drive and understand financial implications for certain decisions
