Senior Finance Manager, SCM
Job Description
The Supply Chain Finance team operates as a financial consultant to the Supply Chain organization by providing action-oriented recommendations that drive fact-based decision making. The Supply Chain Finance team supports and steers the greater organization to achieve performance objectives and financial targets, both in year and across a multi-year horizon, through transparency around cost analysis, business drivers, and forward-looking performance management.
As part of the market-based Finance team, Supply Chain Finance owns all financial controlling and provides key performance indicators and actionable insights to business stakeholders. SCM finance team members enable timely and fact-based decision making, facilitate best practice sharing across functions, and foster a continuous improvement mindset with everything we approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of Supply Chain strategy to improve end-to-end group performance, cost, and service levels
- Manage and support the financial controlling of all logistics cost related to the Supply Chain Management (SCM) function within NAM (including all distribution centers)
- Create and maintain tools that increase transparency on cost drivers to support cost management, drive forecast and planning accuracy, and identify opportunities to drive efficiencies
- Act as a business consultant to supply chain and other partners in the organization, ensuring financial and non-financial managers receive accurate information and analysis, to drive real-time business decisions
- Support business case development for all SCM projects and investments by identifying risks and opportunities, and subsequently providing recommendations for continuous improvement
- Support the development and continuous improvement of a performance management culture within the SCM organization
- Operate as a consummate team player willing to embrace continuous improvement, provide constructive feedback, and demonstrate consistent collaboration across functions
- Implement and maintain methods for advanced budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Manage all standardized reporting, driving automation wherever possible while remaining agile enough to support and ad-hoc analysis

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Strong business acumen and partnership
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills; technical and financial modeling experience a plus
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Solid understanding of financial controlling and accounting practices
- Proven experience in building, developing, and coaching a high-performance team
- Demonstrated commitment to creating and promoting a diverse and inclusive team culture
- Result orientated with a high degree of customer orientation
- Advanced user skills in SAP-CO/PA, Business Intelligence (SAP BW, IBM Cognos)
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially MS Excel; Access skills a plus
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in Business Administration / Finance / Controlling / Logistics
- 8-10 years of work experience in related field; will accept any suitable combination of education, training and experience
- 5+ years of relevant Performance/ Supply Chain Management experience a plus
- Knowledge of fast moving consumer goods, fashion industry and/or retail is an advantage
