Senior Finance Systems Analyst (Order to Cash)
The Finance Systems team builds the technical architecture, automation and features which are integral to the success of Fastly’s finance and accounting functions. We are looking for a Senior Finance Systems Analyst who has deep understanding of billing and revenue systems, is passionate about crafting high quality technical solutions and who thrives when collaborating with a team that solves constantly evolving business needs. This role will have the opportunity to partner with a wide range of teams to make a clear and direct impact on the performance of Fastly’s financial operations. This role will be supported by Manager, Finance Systems.
What You'll Do
- Support the technical configuration, development, integration and maintenance of our revenue/accounts receivable systems including NetSuite, Aria, Avalara and Tesorio
- Develop, test and deploy software customizations and third party applications to meet business needs
- Contribute billing systems expertise to a dynamic, cross-department collaboration to build a new architecture for our billing processes
- Communicate and collaborate with internal partners and technical resources to develop scalable solutions, implement feature improvements and address system errors to maintain the smooth functioning of business processes
- Translate business needs into creative and effective technical solutions and communicate those solutions back to business owners in a way they can clearly understand
- Maintain reliable change practices and documentation for SOX compliance
- Improve the overall quality and completeness of documentation
What We're Looking For
- 5-7 years hands-on experience driving process optimization, technical configuration and automation in finance systems
- 2-4 years providing technical support for accounts receivable systems and processes such as billing, revenue recognition, credit card/payment processing, collections and cash application
- Experience with one or more of the following systems: NetSuite, Aria, Avalara and Tesorio
- In-depth knowledge of order to cash business processes
- The ability to adeptly communicate with non-technical partners in a manner that is clear and relevant for them
- Curious spirit with a passion for excellence who thrives in a dynamically growing business environment
- Strong analytical skills, high level attention to detail and an intuitive understanding of business systems
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and features with minimal guidance
We value a variety of voices, so this is not a laundry list. It would be an added bonus if you have experience in ANY of these:
- Experience with usage based billing
- Accounting background working in accounts receivable, billing or collections
- Strong familiarity with Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ processes
The estimated salary range for this position is $113,000 to $170,000. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
