What You Will Contribute:

The Sr. Financial Business Analyst is a key contributor to the planning, forecasting and analysis function within the Finance team. This position supervises the Financial Analyst position. Person works with all disciplines within the Accounting group as well as senior management, commercial teams and operational teams. Person must be detail orientated and have strong written and oral communication skills. Person must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Job Duties:

  • Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual close process with an emphasis on data analysis.
  • Provide analysis of internal financial information (e.g., profit and loss accounts, financial statements, working capital, product costs, product pricing and expenses.
  • Prepare variance analysis on components of revenue.
  • Participate in the annual planning process with direct responsibility for coordinating the global sales plan.
  • Work with management to develop fixed expense allocations of the annual financial plan.
  • Financial administrator of Micro Strategies data base system. Develop sales reports for stakeholders; maintain data inquiry tools administer software security.
  • Calculate monthly Sales Incentive for the direct sales force.
  • Provide audit support to internal and external audit groups during the closing process.
  • Prepare, analyze, and review monthly sales forecast with senior management including review of prior month's results.
  • Travel to outlying company facilities to gain operational knowledge and coordinate financial activities with stakeholders.
  • Conduct special analysis on an independent and direct basis.
  • Analyze processes to identify problem areas and make recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Assist FP&A team as needed with leadership presentations and Board material support.
  • Compliance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four year college (Accounting or Finance)
  • 5+ years experience in Accounting or Finance preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Intermediate/Advanced skill level in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
