Senior Financial Analyst

The Finance team's goal is to be a trusted and collaborative partner to all the businesses and functional teams that we work with, bringing business acumen, financial expertise and insights to aid decision-making and deliver value to our stakeholders. We strive to generate value through providing specialist advice and making recommendations to optimize decision making, delivering transparent processes and implementing governance and controls to mitigate risk.

As part of the finance team, this role is responsible for financial planning and analysis for multiple functions and leaders across Brightree. The right candidate for this role will have strong analytical skills and financial acumen coupled with the ability to partner and consult with business leaders.

Let's talk about Responsibilities

• Provide financial, accounting, and business management analytic support to various levels of management.
• Build and maintain financial complex models and business cases to support and drive tactical and strategic business decisions
• Proactively recommend courses of action to business leaders based on deep understanding of business and financial models
• Analyze large amounts of data from Salesforce CRM and accounting to generate revenue by customer reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis of the monthly reporting package using Excel and NetSuite.
• Ad hoc financial analysis

Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or business related major required; MBA a plus
• Must have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a corporate finance department
• Advanced Excel skills including the use of: pivot tables, vlookup, sumif, and other features required; macros, power queries, and visual basic a plus
• Prior P&L analysis experience strongly preferred
• Experience with NetSuite a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• A strong understanding from a sales perspective of accounting, business, or healthcare solutions
• Self-starter, results driven and highly motivated
• Ability to take financials and analytics and translate them to a non-finance audience.
• Detail-oriented
• Highly organized
